I am so far behind on updating my blog. Here is the reason. My younger sister was in USA Medical Center in Mobile, AL due to complications with her pregnancy. The baby was born Wednesday, August 26, 2009. This was about 12 weeks too early. There were lots of complications during the pregnancy. The doctors told my sister the baby had spinal bifida and the kidneys were not functioning, the bladder was swollen due to the fluid which lead to the amniotic fluid deminishing. My sister had to make a very big decision to either continue the pregnancy until it ended or deliver the baby. The baby had a very strong heart beat. They said it was a baby girl. My sister chose to have the surgery and hope for the best. She went into surgery and a baby boy was born. What a surprise to all of us. She was expecting a little Molly but got a little Bryson. He was all of 2 lbs and 3 ozs. The baby was rushed off to surgery for the spinal bifida and other complications. After each surgery the doctor would come in and update the family on the progress. The first one was very upliftingm, the second one was a little disheartening but we still kept the faith. The third doctor came in and informed us that the baby was very sick. There were too many complications for him to overcome. A little later that evening my sister and her husband was brought into the nursery to see their precious baby. A little later little baby Bryson went on to become a beautiful angel. He blessed us with his presence for about 10 hours that day. It was awesome because the doctors did not expect even that much. Here are some pictures of my sister's beautiful angel....
